The exercises in the beginning reminded me of grammar exercises from the 1st grade--so fun. I do not remember ever having a class in logic, even though I was tutoring students in the course for a couple of years. This book is not just for mathematicians, but for anybody interested in understanding logical arguments (No mathematical experience is necessary -- NONE, seriously). I would honestly recommend anyone in Law school to take a peek at this book; if they are not able to do the proofs, then The exercises in the beginning reminded me of grammar exercises from the 1st grade--so fun. Great fun! Highly recommend it to anyone interested in making their arguments bulletproof or in how to prove that 1+1 = 2.

Great in the beginning but starting from chapter 6 you have to make certain jumps that aren't explained or showcased early on. Had they been accounted for, this would have been a perfect 5 stars.
One may benefit from reading Suppes' "Introduction to Logic" before jumping into this, at least for the everything from chapter 6 and upwards.

Despite my gripes with the chapter 6 and above, everything before it is presented perfectly. One could not find a more clear guide to learning and practicing math
